Why it’s useful & how it works
BitChute is a peer-to-peer video host that has attracted a large share of content removed from YouTube and other mainstream platforms, making it a standard stop in any reupload sweep. It has no public API, and its search page presents an hCaptcha challenge to automated visitors, so searching requires a human session in a real browser. Echo links you to the BitChute search page and you run the query yourself.

Millions of videos from independent and alternative-media creators. The total catalog size is not publicly disclosed; a 2022 academic dataset covering activity through 2021 documented over 3 million videos from around 61,000 channels.
