Why it’s useful & how it works
Usenet Archives is an independent, free web archive of historical newsgroup discussions that provides a useful alternative when content is missing from Google Groups or Narkive. The site has its own search form, and Echo links you there directly so you can search by keyword, newsgroup name, author, or date. Coverage extends back to Usenet's early years, though the archive has gaps and many groups have little content after around 2013.

Hundreds of millions of Usenet posts across tens of thousands of newsgroups, with coverage beginning in the late 1970s and running through approximately 2013 for most groups.
