Radio Garden
An interactive globe for tuning into thousands of live radio stations around the world. An unofficial keyless API exists, which our search can query alongside linking to the globe interface itself. More a live listening tool than an archive, but handy for locating stations by place.
Why it’s useful & how it works
Radio Garden lets you tune into live stations around the world by spinning an interactive globe, making it useful for locating a specific regional or national broadcaster or for exploring what is on the air right now in a given city. It is a live listening tool rather than an archive, so it is best for finding a station rather than a past recording. Echo links you to the Radio Garden globe and can surface station names for your query; actually listening happens on the Radio Garden site.
What’s inside
More than 40,000 live radio stations from countries across every continent, navigable by geographic location. Stations are added regularly and broken links are pruned to keep the directory current.
