Why it’s useful & how it works
IQDB is purpose-built for the anime and manga booru ecosystem: it searches Danbooru, Gelbooru, Zerochan, Konachan, Sankaku Channel, and several other tagged image boards in a single query, returning the closest matching post from each. It is most useful when SauceNAO does not return a confident result for an anime-style image, since IQDB's fuzzy visual matching can find a source even from a cropped or slightly edited version. Echo passes your image URL directly to IQDB and links you through to review the HTML results page.
