BASE (Bielefeld)

A Bielefeld University academic search engine indexing over 400 million documents harvested from more than 12,000 content providers. The web portal is openly browsable for searching across this material. Its programmatic interface is limited to pre-registered IP addresses, so in practice you use it through the website.
