Desuarchive (4chan archive)
A FoolFuuka-based archive of selected 4chan boards (/a/, /int/, /k/, /tg/, /wsg/ and others) with a large history. It keeps full-text-searchable copies of threads, so you can find old 4chan posts after they vanish from 4chan itself, either on the website or through its keyless JSON API. A core source for forum research on the boards it covers; note that some boards carry NSFW or extreme content.
Why it’s useful & how it works
Desuarchive is a strong first stop for research on the 4chan boards it covers, including active communities such as /a/ (anime), /k/ (weapons), /tg/ (traditional games), /int/ (international), and /wsg/ (video content). It began archiving in 2015 and preserves threads, images, and full text long after 4chan purges them. You can search it by keyword, board, image hash, username, or tripcode, either on the website or through its keyless JSON API. Be aware that some boards contain adult or extreme content.
What’s inside
Covers roughly 22 4chan boards continuously since October 2015, with /mlp/ and /q/ going back to 2014. Images are stored indefinitely where storage allows.
