The preprint server for physics, mathematics, computer science, and neighboring fields, hosting about 2.5 million papers with free full text. Search and browse on arxiv.org, or query the free export API. It is the first place to look for new research before, or instead of, journal publication. Automated queries have been throttled more tightly since early 2026, so machine access may need to slow down.

You search it by keyword, author, or paper ID on arxiv.org, or you can look up a known paper directly by its arXiv identifier. Echo queries the export API using the same search syntax, so results reflect the live index.
