F-Droid is the main repository of free and open-source Android apps, built on the principle that every app it hosts must be buildable from source, with no proprietary components. It keeps a complete archive of every version of each app it has ever published, and packages are built reproducibly so you can verify the binary matches the source code. Its package index is published as open JSON, which lets Echo query it directly to surface package details alongside a link through to the site. Reach for it when you need current or historical releases of FOSS Android apps and want auditable, source-backed builds.
