Google Images / Lens

The world's largest reverse-image and visual search, with Lens adding object and text recognition. It is web-only, there is no public API, so you upload an image or paste a URL yourself. Still the default first move for identifying an image's origin, its subject, or other places it appears online.

Son utilité et son fonctionnement

Google Lens is the world's largest reverse-image and visual search, covering tens of billions of web pages. Beyond finding where an image appears online, Lens can identify objects, landmarks, and text within a picture, making it useful for a broader range of visual questions. There is no public API, and the upload flow requires JavaScript interaction, so Echo generates a pre-filled search link with your image URL; clicking it takes you directly into the Google results interface to review matches yourself.

Ce qu’elle contient

Tens of billions of images indexed from across the public web. Google does not publish a precise figure, but its crawl is the broadest of any general-purpose search engine.
