The preprint server for physics, mathematics, computer science, and neighboring fields, hosting about 2.5 million papers with free full text. Search and browse on arxiv.org, or query the free export API. It is the first place to look for new research before, or instead of, journal publication. Automated queries have been throttled more tightly since early 2026, so machine access may need to slow down.
